FX Advisory & Product Specialist (Private Banking / North Asia)

Overview

This role leads the foreign exchange function within a private banking platform, overseeing product capabilities, commercial performance, and advisory support to client-facing teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the FX business across the platform, including product strategy and revenue delivery
• Translate market developments and research into actionable trade ideas and investment themes
• Partner with client advisors to structure and execute FX solutions aligned to client needs
• Act as a subject matter expert, supporting and upskilling frontline teams in FX products and markets
• Ensure a comprehensive and competitive FX product suite with reliable access and execution
• Manage relationships with counterparties and external market participants
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflows, accurate trade capture, and system integrity
• Uphold strong governance standards, including regulatory compliance and product oversight requirements
• Oversee reporting, performance monitoring, and post-trade analysis to support business and control needs
• Drive product initiatives, including enhancements, marketing materials, and new solution rollouts

Requirements

• Extensive experience in FX advisory / Product Management in a Private Bank/Wealth management platform
• Expert in FX analysis and competent in pitching FX trading ideas
• Experienced in advising Mandarin speaking North Asian clients
• CACS certified
