As a M&E Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Coordinate and supervise Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works to ensure timely project delivery in accordance with project schedules and quality standards.
- Prepare and monitor M&E work schedules based on the overall project master programme.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure smooth execution of M&E works.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
- Review M&E drawings, shop drawings, technical submissions, method statements, and material submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Identify, coordinate, and resolve design discrepancies, technical issues, and interface conflicts between M&E, architectural, and structural works.
- Monitor subcontractors' performance and ensure all M&E works comply with company standards, statutory regulations, and authorities' requirements.
- Assist in the management and evaluation of variation orders, site instructions, and project changes.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in coordinating M&E works for building or construction projects is preferred.
