Job Description
- Lead and manage security executives, technicians, and outsourced security service providers to ensure smooth daily security operations.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of security and car park systems.
- Monitor and analyse security incidents and breaches, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
- Develop, implement, and review security strategies.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and security service providers to support daily operations, events, and ad-hoc security requirements.
- Develop and implement security awareness programmes and internal communication initiatives.
- Review and update security policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), deployment plans, and security processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
- Manage and improve the Security Management System (SMS).
- Attend regular operational and progress meetings, and prepare meeting minutes, reports, and security performance statistics.
- Ensure all security-related documentation is accurate, complete, and properly maintained.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Degree in any discipline with at least 7 years of relevant experience supervising security operations; or
- Diploma in any discipline with at least 10 years of relevant experience supervising security operations.
- Strong knowledge of physical security planning and security operations.
- Technical knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and their integration.
- Good leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
