Pre-sales & Implementation Specialist

1. Pre-sales Activities

  • Partner with prospective clients to understand their challenges and recommend the right software solutions
  • Deliver tailored product demos and presentations that showcase value and ROI
  • Work alongside Sales to shape proposals, statement of work, and client-winning solutions
  • Design smart workarounds to bridge any gap between client needs and standard functionality

2. Implementation Activities

  • Act as the primary client contact throughout implementation, running requirements-gathering sessions to capture HR processes and data needs
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and documentation, proactively flagging and resolving risks
  • Configure the system to client specifications, including workflows, user roles, and data migration
  • Build and execute test plans to validate functionality, resolve defects, and lead client UAT
  • Design and deliver end-user training, plus create supporting documentation
  • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues as they arise

3. Other Duties

  • Stay current on product features and updates, and support ad hoc initiatives, process improvements, and knowledge sharing
  • Maintain accurate documentation across pre-sales and implementation activities
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
