As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Conduct assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve functional independence and daily living skills.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive devices.
- Recommend environmental modifications to enhance patient safety and accessibility.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to promote independence and functional recovery.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Provide occupational therapy services in areas such as geriatrics and neurological rehabilitation.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Min. Degree qualification in Occupational Therapy or equivalent field.
- Valid registration with Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
