(Senior) Executive Assistant (Funds Management)

Join a vital role as a Senior Executive Assistant, where you will harmonize compassionate patient support with diligent financial governance. This position is integral to the success of vital assistance programmes aimed at cancer patients.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process applications for financial assistance programmes tailored for cancer patients in need.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of supporting documents, including medical reports and financial statements, ensuring all submissions meet necessary standards for approval.
  • Administer funding for educational and training programmes to enhance patient care and promote cancer prevention initiatives.
  • Build and sustain effective relationships with Medical Social Workers, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly about application processes, status updates, and outcomes to all relevant parties.
  • Serve as the primary contact for inquiries related to fund eligibility and application procedures.
  • Support the creation of comprehensive reports for committee meetings, including statistical data and financial summaries to inform decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records of fund allocations and expenditures, monitoring usage against approved budgets.
  • Analyse fund performance to identify trends and recommend enhancements to funding strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements while protecting sensitive patient information.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within fund administration processes, covering financial, compliance, and operational concerns.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of fund management processes and guidelines for continuous operational improvement.
  • Perform any additional tasks or duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Social Work, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial administration, grants management, or fund administration.
  • Experience in regulated environments with compliance needs, preferably in healthcare, financial services, or government sectors.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical reporting, including report preparation and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with operational process development and implementation.
