Known for our commitment to asset integrity, operational excellence, and engineering safety, we deliver elite Project Management Teams (PMTs) that safeguard our clients' multi-million-dollar capital investments globally.
For an upcoming drilling rig construction and reactivation project in Singapore, Peak Ocean is assembling an owner-side PMT. We are seeking a highly experienced Project Planner to serve as a Client Representative in this role.
The Role: Client Representative — Schedule Ownership & Integration
As part of the Peak Ocean PMT, you will act strictly in the client's interest, reporting to the Project Manager and providing senior planning support across Engineering, Construction, and Commissioning. Your mission is to own the integrated master schedule, ensuring it accurately reflects cross-discipline dependencies and gives the PMT early warning of risks to on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Develop and own the integrated master schedule in Primavera P6, incorporating engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning activities and their interdependencies.
- Lead schedule risk analysis, identifying critical path drivers and float erosion, and presenting mitigation options to the Project Manager and Project Director.
- Review and validate progress and schedule inputs from the Engineering Manager, Construction Manager, and Commissioning Manager, ensuring consistency and accuracy across disciplines.
- Lead the preparation of schedule reports, S-curves, and dashboards for client and executive review, including recovery plans where needed.
- Mentor junior Project Planner(s), reviewing their schedule updates and reporting outputs.
- Support claims, variation, and delay analysis where schedule impact needs to be substantiated.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of experience in project planning/scheduling within offshore/marine construction or fabrication projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, including schedule integration and risk/critical path analysis.
- Proven track record planning rig construction, newbuild, or reactivation projects, ideally in a Singapore shipyard.
- Experience supporting delay/claims analysis is an advantage.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the credibility to challenge discipline leads on schedule inputs.
