Operations Manager | Parlour Gelato

We are looking for a driven and hands-on Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in our business. This is an exciting opportunity to build operations from the ground up and shape the guest experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage and oversee the food service operations of the cafe
- Lead and supervise a team of staff, and serve and scoop gelato to customers
- Accountable for food cost management, menu planning, and the development of new products
- Develop and execute plans to achieve daily and monthly targets
- Oversee venue equipment, facilities management and maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections on the general cleanliness and upkeep of the venue, and take corrective action when necessary
- Set up Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for service, product preparation, hygiene, cleanliness and daily operations
- Implement the cafe inventory system for the outlet and manage central ordering
- Schedule rosters and complete paperwork duties
- Analyse Point of Sales (POS) reports and sales trends, and recommend and implement cost control and stock planning measures
- Interview, onboard and train new staff to ensure operational readiness
- Coordinate with Marketing on promotional activities and in-store campaigns
