Elective History Teacher

Job Summary (Hourly rate of $50 to $100 per hour)

We are seeking a secondary school Elective History teacher for a freelance/part-time role at EduPlus Education near Clarke Quay MRT. You will deliver engaging lessons, develop MOE curriculum-aligned plans, assess student progress, and foster an inclusive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Elective History lessons to secondary school students to enhance understanding and interest
• Develop and implement creative lesson plans aligned with MOE curriculum standards to address diverse student learning needs
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth
• Maintain accurate student records to track learning outcomes and inform instruction
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages active student participation and personal development

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor's degree in History or a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at the secondary school level
• Familiar with MOE syllabus
