Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for an experienced and responsible General Manager (Business Management) to oversee the overall business operations, strategic planning, administration, finance, sales, and manpower management of the company. The candidate will be responsible for improving business performance, managing daily operations, and ensuring the company achieves its business goals.
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the overall daily operations of the company.
Develop and implement business strategies, plans, and operational procedures.
Monitor company performance and ensure business targets are achieved.
Manage departments including administration, finance, sales, operations, and human resources.
Review business processes and recommend improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
Prepare budgets, business forecasts, reports, and management plans.
Monitor company revenue, expenses, cash flow, and financial performance.
Lead and supervise managers, executives, and staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Coordinate with clients, suppliers, vendors, contractors, and business partners.
Identify new business opportunities and support company growth.
Ensure proper compliance with company policies, government regulations, and statutory requirements.
Manage recruitment planning, staff performance, training, and manpower allocation.
Handle key customer accounts and maintain good business relationships.
Resolve operational issues, customer complaints, and internal management matters.
Report business updates, performance results, and strategic recommendations to the Directors.
Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field.
Relevant experience in business management, operations management, administration, or general management is preferred.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of business operations, financial planning, sales, and manpower management.
Able to develop business strategies and manage company growth.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Able to manage multiple departments and work under pressure.
Good analytical skills with the ability to prepare reports and review business performance.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general business management systems.
Responsible, independent, results-driven, and able to lead a team effectively.
Willing to work flexible hours when required to meet business needs.
Preferred Skills
Experience in managing business development, operations, and corporate administration.
Knowledge of Singapore business compliance, employment regulations, and company procedures.
Ability to handle financial reports, budgeting, and management planning.
Experience in leading a team and managing company-level responsibilities.
