Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Travel Consultant to assist clients with travel planning, bookings, and related travel services. The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer travel needs, providing suitable travel options, and ensuring smooth travel arrangements.
Roles & Responsibilities
Handle customer enquiries through phone, email, WhatsApp, and walk-in appointments.
Provide travel advice and recommend suitable destinations, packages, flights, hotels, and transport arrangements.
Prepare travel itineraries based on customer requirements and budget.
Make flight, hotel, tour, visa, and insurance bookings where required.
Coordinate with airlines, hotels, travel agencies, and service providers.
Provide accurate information on travel requirements, visa procedures, travel documents, and entry regulations.
Assist customers with changes, cancellations, refunds, and special requests.
Maintain proper records of bookings, customer details, invoices, and payments.
Promote travel packages, seasonal offers, and company services.
Ensure excellent customer service before, during, and after the travel arrangement.
Handle customer feedback and resolve travel-related issues professionally.
Meet sales targets and contribute to business development.
Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
Relevant experience in travel agency, tourism, customer service, or sales will be an advantage.
Knowledge of flight booking systems, travel portals, and basic itinerary planning is preferred.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Able to handle customer enquiries professionally and patiently.
Strong sales, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and online booking platforms.
Able to manage multiple bookings and follow up with customers on time.
Willing to work on weekends or public holidays when required.
Positive attitude, responsible, and service-oriented.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of visa application procedures and travel documentation.
Experience in handling corporate travel, group tours, or holiday packages.
Ability to speak multiple languages will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo is preferred but not compulsory.
