Job Description & Requirements

  • Co-ordinate with restaurant manager in all aspects of the daily restaurant duties.
  • Co-ordinate with vendor and suppliers on supplies and invoices.
  • Plans menu by consulting with chefs, estimates food costs & profits, adjusts menu.
  • Coordinate with Chefs on preparation of Udupi Cuisine Food
  • Regularly review product quality
  • Coordinate with Customer and marketing of Udupi style Karnataka Food
  • Delivering superior food and beverage service and maximizing customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with Customer and explain about the food standards and dishes
  • Handle Complaints and ensure prompt and effective resolutions to meet customers expectation
  • Advice accurate information based on customers enquires.
  • Ensuring high quality services delivered to customers
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
  • Making improvement to the running of business and development of Restaurant
  • Minimum 3 Years work experience in Udupi Cuisine
  • Must be bilingual in English and at least one Indian dialect
  • Prior working experience in Authentic Udupi Style Indian Restaurant preferred
  • Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers
  • Knowledge of Udupi Karnataka Food Taste
  • Strong Oral communication skill and stamina , physically fit.
  • Strong planning and organistaional skill.
  • Able to work under pressure and deliver the designated work as and when required.
  • Good business awareness
  • Must possess basic computer skill
