Job Summary

Coordinate and supervise workplace safety and health in building maintenance and construction, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and implementing effective risk management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise workplace safety and health activities in building maintenance and construction environments to ensure a safe worksite
  • Address workplace safety, health, and environmental control issues by identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate HSE records in compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements to support audits and inspections
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential safety hazards and develop appropriate safety procedures to mitigate risks
  • Ensure all site activities comply with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) safety regulations and standards to uphold legal and safety obligations

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health
  • Certificate in Safety Coordinator Training Course
  • Managing Work at Height Certificate
  • Supervision of Metal Scaffold Erection Course
  • Lifting Supervisors' Safety Course
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
