F&B Floor Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused F&B Floor Manager to oversee the daily front-of-house operations of our restaurant. The successful candidate will lead and motivate the service team, ensure excellent customer experiences, maintain operational standards, and support the achievement of sales and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily front-of-house operations to deliver smooth and efficient service throughout operating hours
- Enforce compliance with company SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards to maintain a safe environment
- Monitor restaurant cleanliness, ambience, and service quality to uphold high customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage delivery
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation when required, to ensure operational accuracy
- Resolve customer feedback and service issues promptly to maintain positive dining experiences
- Build and sustain positive guest relationships to encourage repeat patronage
- Supervise, coach, and motivate service staff to achieve high performance and service standards
- Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and allocate duties to optimize team efficiency and workflow
- Train new employees on service standards, product knowledge, and operational procedures to ensure consistent quality
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline, and overall performance to uphold company standards
- Track stock levels of beverages, consumables, and supplies to ensure availability and prevent shortages
- Assist with inventory counts, ordering, and stock replenishment to maintain operational continuity
- Minimize wastage and ensure proper handling of company assets to control costs effectively
- Support initiatives to improve sales and enhance customer satisfaction through operational excellence
- Monitor daily sales performance and recommend operational improvements to drive business growth
- Assist in implementing promotional activities and marketing campaigns to boost revenue
- Prepare shift reports and operational records to maintain accurate documentation and accountability
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements to mitigate risks
- Perform other duties assigned by management to support overall business operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Business, or related field
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills through supervising and motivating staff
- Customer relationship management skills to foster guest loyalty and positive experiences
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards to maintain compliance
- Conflict resolution skills to handle customer and staff issues effectively
- Experience in inventory and stock control to maintain operational supplies
- Proficiency in cash handling and POS systems for accurate transaction management
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to maintain high service and operational standards
- Operational planning skills to support smooth restaurant functioning

Working Hours
- 5 or 6-day work week (according to company schedule)
