Finance Analyst

Join a dynamic finance team where you will be pivotal in financial analysis, cash management, and credit oversight. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic budgeting and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, reviewing departmental submissions related to order booking, sales, inventory, accounts receivable, profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow.
  • Prepare and analyse management reports, including budget versus actuals and variance analysis, as well as key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist in the consolidation of accounts and the preparation of the group reporting package.
  • Collaborate with various departments to formulate the annual budget and conduct half-yearly budget reviews.
  • Support the creation and governance of group financial policies.
  • Perform cash flow planning and forecasting for the regional headquarters.
  • Facilitate banking activities, including fund transfers and foreign exchange transactions.
  • Update monthly exchange rates and assist with foreign exchange hedging initiatives.
  • Support treasury operations such as cash pooling, intercompany loans, liquidity planning, and working capital analysis.
  • Prepare accounts receivable reports and organise bi-monthly meetings to address outstanding receivables.
  • Maintain credit policy and assess customer/distributor creditworthiness in collaboration with sales and legal teams.
  • Provide financial information required for supplier credit applications.

Requirements

  • Diploma, Degree, or professional certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, auditing, or equivalent fields.
  • Proficient in financial modelling with software such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and cash flow management.
  • Proven initiative and effective communication skills to liaise with various departments and subsidiaries.
  • High attention to detail, organisation, and meticulousness.
  • Positive attitude towards work and collaboration.
