Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client within the consumer electronics industry to hire a Sales Assistant Manager to drive business development and project sales across Singapore. This role is ideal for a commercially driven individual who enjoys building client relationships, identifying new opportunities and managing projects from initial engagement through to successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow the company's presence by developing new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, dealers and key corporate clients.
- Manage the full project sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and understanding customer requirements to solution proposal, commercial negotiation and project completion.
- Work closely with customers to recommend suitable technical solutions that align with their operational, budget and project requirements.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while actively pursuing new projects and expanding existing customer accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, operations and customer service to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed of market developments, competitor activities and emerging customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.
- Contribute to business planning by preparing sales forecasts, pipeline updates and market intelligence for management.
- Represent the business at customer engagements, industry events and product launches to strengthen market presence and brand awareness.
Requirements
- At least 4–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within HVAC, building services, M&E, engineering or other technical solution-based industries.
- Proven track record in project sales, business development and account management.
- Strong commercial mindset with excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across both customer and internal teams.
- Self-driven, proactive and motivated by achieving business growth and sales targets.
