Job Summary

We are looking for a Process Engineer to industrialize and optimize CNC machining processes for gas turbine component repairs. This role focuses on process qualification, continuous improvement, quality enhancement, and manufacturing efficiency while working closely with cross-functional engineering and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Industrialize CNC machining processes for new and existing products, including CNC milling, turning, EDM, lathes, and related machining operations.
  • Qualify machining processes to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve manufacturability and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure machining operations meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives.
  • Monitor machining process performance and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for process improvements.
  • Drive productivity, waste reduction, and sustainability initiatives through continuous improvement projects.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize machining processes and eliminate non-value-added activities.
  • Support tooling selection, fixture design, process validation, and machining optimization.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to machining operators and technicians.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3 years of experience in CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, or process engineering.
  • Experience with CNC milling, turning, EDM, or precision machining processes.
  • Knowledge of tooling selection, fixture design, CAD, CAM, and metrology.
  • Experience in process qualification, industrialization, and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of gas turbine component repair is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies.
