Business Development Manager – Design & Build

Your Role
This is not a traditional sales position.
We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, understands clients' business challenges, and can connect them with creative solutions. You will be responsible for developing long-term client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and working closely with our in-house design and project teams to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across corporate, retail, commercial, government, hospitality, exhibition, and event sectors.
- Build long-term relationships with property managers, architects, interior designers, creative agencies, event organizers, marketing teams, and procurement departments.
- Generate qualified sales leads through networking, referrals, strategic outreach, and industry engagement.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations, and client pitches together with the design team.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable branding, signage, exhibition, and interior solutions.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Technical Directors to ensure a smooth handover from sales to project delivery.
- Manage key client accounts and develop repeat business opportunities.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions to expand Access Corp's presence.
- Achieve agreed sales and gross profit targets while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular business development reports.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of business development or sales experience in one or more of the following industries: Exhibition/Interior Fit-Out/Signage/Printing/Events/Construction/Commercial Renovation.
- Existing network within Singapore's corporate or commercial sectors is highly preferred.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable engaging decision-makers, marketing teams, procurement managers, and business owners.
- Self-motivated with a hunter mindset and a passion for growing accounts.
- Able to work independently while collaborating closely with internal teams.
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving license (preferred).
