Arc-en-ciel Pâtisserie is a boutique pastry atelier in Singapore, best known for our seasonal ice cream parfaits, thoughtfully crafted desserts, and collaborations with premium producers from around the world.

Our six-month Pastry Atelier Programme is designed for passionate pastry graduates and aspiring chefs who are looking for meaningful, hands-on experience in a creative, small-team environment.

Rather than spending months repeating the same task, you'll gain exposure to how a modern pastry atelier operates—from daily production and menu execution to seasonal menu development and creative collaborations.

What You'll Experience

Throughout the programme, you'll progressively gain exposure to:

  • Daily pastry and parfait production

  • Ice cream, sorbet and dessert component preparation

  • Precision plating and finishing

  • Seasonal menu changes and execution

  • Product development and creative R&D

  • Working with premium ingredients from around the world

  • Brand collaborations and special projects

  • The day-to-day operations of an independent pastry atelier

As your confidence grows, you'll gradually take on greater responsibility and ownership within the kitchen.

How You'll Learn

At Arc-en-ciel Pâtisserie, learning happens through real experience.

During your initial weeks, you'll receive close guidance as you become familiar with our production methods, standards, and workflow.

As you become more confident, you'll be encouraged to work more independently while continuing to receive feedback, guidance, and support from our chef-owner and team whenever needed.

Because we're a small atelier, there may not always be formal one-to-one teaching every day. Instead, you'll learn through observation, responsibility, problem-solving, and being actively involved in the creative process.

Our goal isn't simply to teach recipes—it's to help you develop the mindset, discipline, and confidence of a pastry professional.

Who We're Looking For

This programme is ideal for someone who:

  • Has recently graduated from pastry or culinary school, or is looking to deepen their pastry experience

  • Is passionate about desserts and craftsmanship

  • Enjoys working with precision and attention to detail

  • Is curious, responsible, and eager to learn

  • Thrives in a small, collaborative team environment

  • Takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality work

Previous pastry experience is welcome but not essential—we're more interested in your attitude than your résumé.

Programme Details

Duration: 6-month paid part-time programme

Hours: Up to 30 hours per week

Commitment: Able to work both weekday and weekend shifts

Eligibility: Singaporeans and PRs only
