SALES ENGINEER

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the building and construction industry.
  • Actively prospect and engage potential customers through networking, referrals, cold calling, and site visits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, building owners, facility managers, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical and commercial solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, quotations, and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Follow up on sales enquiries and negotiate commercial terms to achieve successful business closures.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall growth objectives of the company.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and business opportunities.
  • Requirements
  • Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident preferred.
  • Diploma in Engineering, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of sales or business development experience within the building, construction, M&E, or related industries.
  • Experience in the fire protection, fire safety, or fire engineering industry will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of the local building and construction market.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Possess strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possession of a valid Class 3 driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
