Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production and operations to ensure production schedules and customer orders are fulfilled on time.
  • Plan, assign, and coordinate duties of production workers to achieve daily production targets efficiently.
  • Monitor product quality, portion control, productivity, and production output to maintain company standards.
  • Ensure all food products are prepared, processed, and packed according to established recipes, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety throughout all production processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and finished goods to support uninterrupted production operations.
  • Conduct routine inspections of production equipment and facilities, and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Train, supervise, and guide production workers on standard operating procedures (SOPs), food hygiene practices, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate production records, inventory reports, quality checklists, and other operational documentation.
  • Identify and resolve production issues promptly to minimise downtime and ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management to support operational and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Relevant working experience in food manufacturing, food processing, central kitchen operations, or a related food production environment.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene, food safety, quality control procedures, and SFA regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet production deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
