Summary

Lead, design, implement,maintain, and secure the organization’s entire network infrastructure. Ensurehigh availability, reliability, scalability, and performance of all networksystems, while aligning technology with business goals and ensuring compliancewith policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Network Architecture& Design

  • Plan, design, and upgrade LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking solutions.
  • Evaluate new technologies, hardware, and software to improve network efficiency and capacity.
  • Develop network diagrams, standards, and documentation for all infrastructure components.

2. Implementation &Deployment

  • Oversee installation, configuration, and integration of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless controllers, and network appliances.
  • Manage network expansion, office relocations, and site-to-site connectivity projects.
  • Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth rollouts.

3. Operations &Maintenance

  • Monitor network performance, bandwidth usage, and uptime using management tools; resolve bottlenecks and latency issues.
  • Perform regular maintenance, firmware updates, patches, and configuration changes following change management protocols.
  • Conduct routine health checks and capacity planning to prevent outages.
  • Manage IP address allocation, DNS, DHCP, and network naming standards.

4. Security &Compliance

  • Implement and enforce network security policies, access controls, and segmentation strategies.
  • Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, and secure remote access.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

5. Troubleshooting &Support

  • Lead root-cause analysis for major network outages or performance issues; implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Provide technical guidance and escalation support to the IT support team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5–8+ years in network engineering/administration
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching, VLANs, VPN, SD-WAN.
  • Hands-on experience with major networking and security vendors
  • CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP, PCNSE, CWNA, AWS Advanced Networking, ITIL.
