Tamita Singapore Advisors Pte. Ltd (“TSA”) is a family office providing investment advisory services to a single family based in Singapore. TSA focuses on the telecoms, media and technology sectors as well as alternative assets. We are looking for a candidate to work directly with the Managing Director (“MD”)/Chief Investment Office (“CIO”) to assist with all aspects of managing the investment portfolio.
This unique opportunity will suit a bright individual early in their career looking to develop investment skills and business acumen. You will learn from a telecoms and media industry veteran, applying a private equity investing discipline. The right candidate will be highly numerate and broadly curious, equally keen to learn how to generate alpha, as well as the societal impact of digital technologies. You will be a self-starter and independent thinker.
Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining detailed financial models for selected companies within the portfolio or on its watchlist
- Preparing investment memos and quarterly monitoring reports on individual positions, incorporating relevant information from company reporting and the wider markets
- Monitoring various sectors for trends and developments in addition to screening watchlists to identify new investment ideas and opportunities
· the management of the overall investment portfolio and, from time to time, the individual portfolios of the principals;
· the preparation of investment memos for the annual portfolio review;
· ensuring positions comply with all applicable compliance policies and procedures
- Supportingthe supervision of the day-to-day business, the achievement of short- andlong-term financial targets and liaising with advisors as necessary
Attributes
- A passion for long-term fundamental-driven investing
- A relevant honours degree from an internationally recognised university
- 4-6 years of experience in the financial services industry in an investment-relatedrole or 4-6 years of experience in a Finance/Accounting role as an Auditor/Accountant/Analyst
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and comfortable with complexity
- Completed CPA and/or MBA and completed or pursuing CFA

- Excellent financial modelling skills and an ability to process large volumes of information in order to reliably identify key value drivers
- Strong analytical skills to assess financial and other relevant information
- Collaboration and teamwork which focuses on collective and not individual success
- Strongcommunication skills and English writing skills, particularly for presenting investment ideas
