For an upcoming drilling rig construction and reactivation project in Singapore, Peak Ocean is assembling an owner-side PMT. We are seeking a highly experienced E&I Inspector to serve as a Client Representative in this role.
The Role: Client Representative — E&I Inspector Inspection
As part of the Peak Ocean PMT, you will act strictly in the client's interest, reporting to the Senior/Lead Electrical Inspector. Your mission is to provide day-to-day inspection coverage across both electrical and instrumentation installation work, ensuring quality and specification compliance across the combined E&I scope.
- Conduct combined electrical and instrumentation inspection of installation work, including cable routing, terminations, and field device installation.
- Verify installation workmanship against approved E&I drawings and specifications.
- Monitor daily E&I inspection logs, instrument calibration certificates, loop checks, and contractor routine operations.
- Verify the closeout of E&I punch-list items and raise non-conformances where work does not meet specification.
- Report inspection findings and progress daily to the Senior/Lead Electrical Inspector.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of combined E&I inspection experience in offshore/marine fabrication or shipyard construction.
- Working knowledge of electrical and instrumentation installation standards and drawings.
- Familiarity with hazardous area installation requirements is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and clear, factual reporting skills.
