Job Summary
You will coordinate with management, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of quality goods and services, manage inventory and expenses, and support process improvements to exceed stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with shipping agencies and vendors to ensure timely deliveries while verifying the quality and integrity of goods and services received
- Extract and analyze transactional data to forecast and plan inventory needs accurately
- Manage inventory holding values and control operating expenses effectively
- Review and update records and information to assess and improve work processes and procedures
- Administer and update purchasing documents promptly to maintain accuracy and compliance
- Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders to ensure correctness and timely supplier flow
- Generate weekly and monthly procurement forecasts and reports to support planning and decision-making
- Maintain professional vendor relationships to facilitate smooth procurement operations
- Enforce procurement policies and procedures to uphold quality standards
- Forecast and procure materials and supplies in accurate quantities and within required timelines
- Monitor contract service periods and plan negotiations to secure subsequent service contracts with sufficient lead time
- Participate in vendor evaluations and qualification processes to ensure supplier reliability
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on schedule
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management to support business needs
