Project Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

· Responsible for the organization, planning, control and execution of project

· Lead and manage a team of operational staff to meet the objectives and targets

· Establish and implement controls to ensure that works are carried out safely according to the works program and produce long term works plans

· Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the Project Quality & Safety Plan, contract requirements, including drawings and specifications

· Monitor, control and coordinate site works with the operations team as well as contractors

· Develop and maintain good working relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, consultants and contractors

· Support Commercial team in handling contractual matters when required

· Work closely with vendors and subcontractors to ensure project budget, purchase terms and conditions are met.

· To maintain healthy project cash flow and measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.

· To chair project safety committee and ensure safety standards are met and dealt with in a timely manner.

· To create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

. Work days per week : 5 days

Requirements

· DEGREE IN CIVIL ENGINEERING WITH PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS.

EXPERIENCE IN JURONG ISLAND PROJECTS will be AN ADDED advantage.· Minimum 8 years relevant project management experience in local Oil & Gas / Construction industry.

· Possess excellent leadership, planning, interpersonal communication and negotiation skills to lead a team of engineers and manage subcontractors.

· Able to take on numerous challenging tasks while simultaneously meeting high standards and deadlines / vision.

· Highly motivated, driven by excellence and having an eye for details.

· Able to start work soon.
