Director, IT Service Delivery

Our client in the logistics industry is looking for an experienced and strategic Director, IT Service Delivery to lead their regional IT support organization across the Asia-Pacific region. In this role, you'll drive operational excellence, enhance the end-user experience, and build strong partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders. You'll lead high-performing teams, oversee large-scale technology initiatives, and help shape the future of IT service delivery in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead IT service delivery operations across multiple APAC countries, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and customer-focused service delivery.
- Develop and execute regional IT support strategies aligned with business and global technology objectives.
- Oversee service desk, incident management, problem management, workplace technology, and end-user support functions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation, AI, process optimization, and service modernization.
- Partner with business leaders, customers, and technology teams to understand business needs and deliver effective technology solutions.
- Support business development activities by providing technical expertise, solution design, cost estimates, and IT input for customer proposals and contracts.
- Govern large-scale IT projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Manage strategic vendor relationships and outsourced service providers to achieve service excellence.
- Lead executive response during major incidents and ensure effective communication throughout service recovery.
- Establish performance metrics, service governance, and continuous improvement programs to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing regional team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (MBA is an advantage).
- Significant leadership experience in IT service management, client support, or technology operations within a large, complex organization.
- Proven experience leading regional or multi-country IT support teams across the APAC region.
- Strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), incident and problem management, and end-user computing services.
- Experience delivering enterprise technology projects and managing cross-functional initiatives.
- Knowledge of enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or Order Management Systems (OMS).
- Financial management and budgeting experience, with the ability to balance operational performance and cost efficiency.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to influence senior leaders, customers, and external partners.
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to delivering operational excellence.

- PMP or PRINCE2 certification
- Cloud or IT Service Management certifications
- Experience within logistics, supply chain, warehousing, transportation, or distribution industries
