Job Summary
Our client, a growing SME in the B2B services space, seeks a results-driven Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, and drive revenue growth across APAC markets.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers to drive long-term partnerships
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations to prospective clients
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in alignment with company pricing and margin objectives
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategy
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging with client needs
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline
- 3–6 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive) to manage pipeline
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently across regional markets
