Job Summary

Our client, a leading financial services firm, seeks an analytical Data Analyst to transform complex datasets into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends and business insights
• Build dashboards and reports using BI tools to visualize key performance metrics for stakeholders
• Partner with business units to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
• Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to support data-driven decision-making
• Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with data governance policies

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related discipline
• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related analytical role

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Working knowledge of Python or R for statistical analysis
• Strong attention to detail and ability to translate data into clear business narratives
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and prioritizing across multiple stakeholder requests
