Deputy General Manager

• Deputy General Manager, East China

Reporting to the CEO in Singapore, the Deputy General Manager (based in East China, Chemical Industry) will serve as the primary contact between China operations and global headquarters. You'll lead cross-border initiatives and drive corporate strategies, with a focus on scaling sales, advancing business development, improving customer experiences, and optimising operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sales strategies, business development, and key account management to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Oversee day-to-day business operations, supply chain coordination, and inventory planning to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
• Mentor and manage local commercial and support teams, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
• Partner with regional leadership to execute corporate strategies, monitor market trends, and adapt to local industry dynamics.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and ensure strict adherence to local regulations and corporate policies.

Requirements:

• 8–10+ years of leadership experience in the chemical industry, trading, or industrial distribution.
• Proven success in B2B sales, business development, and managing end-to-end trading operations.
• Deep understanding of the China business and regulatory landscape, with experience collaborating with multinational or regional HQs.
• Fully fluent in Mandarin and English
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
