Business Development Manager – Job Scope

Position Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, increasing brand awareness, expanding the customer base, and developing strategic partnerships for Anatolia Turkish Restaurant. The role focuses on dine-in sales, corporate catering, private events, delivery platforms, digital marketing initiatives, and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase restaurant sales and profitability.

  • Identify new business opportunities, including corporate catering, bulk orders, private functions, and event partnerships.

  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, hotels, offices, schools, and community organizations.

  • Generate leads and convert them into long-term business accounts.

  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and negotiate business agreements.

2. Marketing & Brand Promotion

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to increase customer traffic.

  • Coordinate promotional activities, seasonal offers, and loyalty programs.

  • Collaborate with designers and content creators for social media campaigns.

  • Ensure consistent branding across all marketing channels.

  • Monitor competitors and market trends to recommend new promotional strategies.

3. Digital Marketing & Online Presence

  • Manage and improve the restaurant's online reputation.

  • Coordinate social media marketing on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google Business Profile.

  • Work with food delivery platforms to optimize promotions and visibility.

  • Monitor online customer reviews and respond professionally.

4. Corporate Catering & Events

  • Promote catering services for corporate meetings, weddings, birthdays, and private events.

  • Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams to ensure successful event execution.

  • Develop event packages and customized menus for clients.

5. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with regular customers and VIP clients.

  • Collect customer feedback and recommend service improvements.

  • Develop customer retention programs and membership initiatives.

6. Financial & Sales Performance

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

  • Analyze sales reports and identify growth opportunities.

  • Monitor marketing ROI and business development performance.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly management reports.

7. Strategic Partnerships

  • Develop collaborations with nearby businesses, hotels, offices, gyms, and tourist operators.

  • Organize joint promotions and cross-marketing activities.

  • Explore franchise, licensing, or expansion opportunities where applicable.

8. Operations Support

  • Work closely with restaurant management to ensure marketing campaigns align with operational capacity.

  • Coordinate with chefs and service staff for new menu launches and promotional events.

  • Assist in improving customer service standards and guest experience.

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain customer and corporate account databases.

  • Prepare contracts, proposals, and partnership agreements.

  • Keep records of sales activities and client communications.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Singapore regulations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.

  • Growth in corporate catering and event bookings.

  • Increase in average customer spending.

  • Growth in repeat customer rate.

  • Number of new corporate partnerships secured.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the F&B or hospitality industry.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and networking skills.

  • Experience in digital marketing and social media management is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of catering, restaurant operations, and customer service.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales reporting tools.

  • Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
