Java Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8/11/17 and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and web services.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Understanding of Git version control systems.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and development best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to front-end technologies (Angular, React, or Vue.js) is a plus.
