Accounts and Finance Assistant

Hjh Maimunah is looking for a meticulous and responsible Accounts & Finance Assistant to support the daily accounting and finance operations of the company. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring timely completion of finance-related tasks while providing administrative support when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

  • Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and journal entries.

  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

  • Assist in monthly financial closing and preparation of reports.

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems.

  • Process staff claims and supplier payments.

  • Follow up on outstanding customer payments.

  • Assist with inventory and stock reconciliation when required.

  • Support the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with auditors when necessary.

  • Assist with CPF submissions, GST reporting and other statutory requirements.

  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Provide administrative support to the Finance Department as required.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Finance Manager or Management.

Requirements

  • Diploma, Higher Nitec or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

  • Candidates with 1–3 years of accounting experience will have an advantage.

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience with accounting software is an advantage.

  • Meticulous, organised and able to maintain confidentiality.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
