Quantitative Researcher

The Company supports corporate clients through quantitative modelling, business analytics, technical consulting, data-driven decision support and business process optimisation across a range of commercial projects.

As part of our continued business growth, we are seeking a Quantitative Researcher to join our expanding technical consulting team.

We are looking for a highly motivated Quantitative Researcher to support consulting projects involving quantitative modelling, analytical methodologies and data-driven decision support. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams to deliver high-quality analytical solutions, technical reports and consulting deliverables for corporate clients.

The role requires strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, together with practical problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly.

• Conduct quantitative analysis and mathematical modelling for consulting projects.
• Develop analytical methodologies to support business and operational decision-making.
• Analyse structured and unstructured datasets using statistical and computational techniques.
• Design, validate and improve quantitative models for commercial applications.
• Perform data analysis and generate insights to support client engagements.
• Prepare technical reports, analytical documentation and project deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal teams on consulting assignments and project implementation.
• Participate in project planning, technical discussions and client meetings.
• Support continuous improvement of analytical methodologies and internal knowledge resources.
• Undertake other quantitative and analytical tasks as assigned.

Applicants should possess:

• Master's degree or PhD in Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Data Science or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong background in mathematical modelling, optimisation and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in Python and scientific computing.
• Familiarity with machine learning, data analytics and numerical methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

The following will be advantageous:

• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar machine learning frameworks.
• Experience with MATLAB, SQL or C/C++.
• Experience in quantitative modelling, engineering analysis or consulting projects.
