Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the company's revenue and profitability goals.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to meet individual and team sales targets.
  • Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives and monitor performance against these targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, corporate clients, and business partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management review.
  • Train, coach, and mentor sales staff to improve product knowledge, customer service, and selling skills.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints or escalated issues.
  • Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to plan promotions, product launches, and sales campaigns.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work closely with procurement or operations to ensure product availability.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements with customers where authorized.
  • Analyse sales data and prepare recommendations to improve sales performance and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage sales budgets and control expenses within approved limits.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and staff evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and business development efforts.
  • Foster a positive, performance-driven, and collaborative work environment.
  • Represent the company professionally at meetings, exhibitions, networking events, and customer visits when required.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Directors or Management that are consistent with the role.

  • Previous experience in sales management or a similar leadership role is preferred.
