Application Technical Lead (Windows)

We're looking for an Application Technical Lead with expertise in Windows-based enterprise applications to lead application technology refresh and modernization initiatives. You'll provide technical leadership for application upgrades, infrastructure refresh, and production deployments, working closely with infrastructure, security, application, and vendor teams to deliver secure, stable, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the technical delivery of application technology refresh and modernization projects, ensuring successful implementation across the project lifecycle.

2. Oversee technical solutions for Windows-based applications, including application upgrades, server migration, middleware configuration, and production deployment.

3. Collaborate with Infrastructure, IT Security, Database, Network, and application teams to ensure technical readiness, system integration, and compliance with enterprise standards.

4. Provide technical leadership during design reviews, implementation, SIT/UAT, production deployment, and post-implementation support, resolving technical issues and minimizing project risks.

5. Partner with business stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to manage technical dependencies, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure timely project delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 3-5 years of experience in application development, infrastructure, or technical leadership roles within enterprise IT environments.

• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Microsoft IIS, and enterprise application deployment and support.

• Good understanding of application infrastructure, including web servers, application servers, networking, operating systems, databases, and security.

• Experience leading application upgrade, technology refresh, migration, or infrastructure modernization projects.

• Familiarity with IT security controls, including certificate management, server hardening, vulnerability remediation, and production release processes.

• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders in complex project environments.

• Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
