We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Testing and Commissioning Manager with a strong background in water/wastewater treatment plants to join our client's dynamic project team.
As the Testing and Commissioning Manager, you will be the driving force behind ensuring the successful operational readiness and performance of complex water treatment facilities. You will lead all aspects of the testing, commissioning, and handover processes, guaranteeing compliance with project specifications, operational excellence, and the seamless integration of new systems. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional capable of managing intricate technical processes, leading diverse teams, and collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Develop, implement, and meticulously manage comprehensive testing and commissioning strategies, plans, and schedules for large-scale water/wastewater treatment plants, including the integration of employee training programs.
Design and create detailed testing and commissioning checklists, inspection and test procedures (ITPs), and a robust overall commissioning plan tailored to the project's unique requirements.
Lead, mentor, and coordinate the dedicated testing and commissioning team, fostering strong collaboration with the Site Supervision Team and various Contractors to execute the commissioning plan efficiently and achieve project milestones.
Provide expert oversight for all testing and commissioning activities, from initial dry commissioning phases through to successful process commissioning, including the critical optimization of plant operations to ensure peak performance.
Orchestrate and deliver comprehensive training packages for client employees, encompassing both classroom-based instruction and practical on-the-job training, leveraging qualified trainers from contractors and equipment suppliers prior to process commissioning.
Coordinate the development, review, and finalization of essential operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals and all associated training materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and ease of use for operational staff.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations throughout all testing and commissioning phases.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges during the commissioning process, implementing effective solutions to maintain project timelines and quality.
A relevant Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical) or an equivalent certification from a recognized institution.
A minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in the commissioning and operation of large-scale used water/water treatment plants of similar size, complexity, and technology.
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating with various project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Profound understanding of water/wastewater treatment processes, plant operations, and relevant industry standards and regulations.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of training diverse groups and negotiating effectively.
Proficiency in developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and reporting.
