We are seeking motivated and passionate graduates to joinour IT Support Engineer Team through the Graduate Industry Traineeships(GRIT) Programme.

About the GRIT Programme

The Graduate Industry Traineeships (GRIT)Programme is an initiative by the Skills and WorkforceDevelopment Agency (SWDA) that provides fresh graduates with structuredtraineeship opportunities across various industries for a period of 3 to 6months.

The programme aims to support fresh graduates with no priorworking experience by providing hands-on industry exposure and practical skillsdevelopment. Through structured training and real-world project experience, trainees gain industry-relevant competencies that support their transition intofull-time employment.

You will gain foundational exposure to Infrastructure and IT Operations technologies, including:

  • Wintel and UNIX environments

  • Virtualization technologies

  • Cloud computing fundamentals

Key Responsibilities

  • Log, validate, and diagnose customer technical issues across a range of products and applications used at customer sites.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues through effective information gathering, analysis, and problem investigation.

  • Provide timely solutions or escalate incidents to the appropriate resolution teams when required.

  • Ensure all tickets and escalations are managed in accordance with agreed service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication throughout the incident resolution process.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Desktop operating systems
  • Common software applications

  • PC hardware fundamentals

  • Networking concepts and Internet technologies

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate across different requirements.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, conduct research, and resolve user problems.

Eligibility Criteria

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
  • Graduated in 2024, 2025, or 2026 from a University, Polytechnic, Institute of Technical Education (ITE), or other educational institution (including private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from the above institutions and completed National Service (NS) in 2024, 2025, or 2026.
  • Must have no prior working experience.
  • Must be prepared to commit to a full-time traineeship.

Note: Trainees who complete their studies in2026 but will only receive their qualification or certification award in 2027are also eligible to apply.

DXC-Specific Requirements

In addition to meeting the GRIT Programme eligibilitycriteria:

  • Applicants must be available to commit to a minimum six (6) month full-time traineeship with DXC Technology.
  • Due to project and business requirements, DXC will only consider candidates who are available for the full 6-month duration.
  • Candidates who are unable to complete the full 6-month traineeship commitment will not be considered.
