Quantitative Execution Trader

A well-established Singapore-based Family Office with a global investment mandate is looking for a highly analytical and technically driven Quantitative Execution Trader to join its Front Office investment team.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Portfolio Managers and Quantitative Researchers to optimise the execution of systematic investment strategies across global markets. You will play a key role in execution research, market microstructure analysis, and the continuous enhancement of trading performance through data-driven insights and technology.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute systematic investment strategies across global financial markets with a focus on achieving best execution.
- Conduct research to improve execution quality, minimise market impact, and reduce transaction costs.
- Analyse market microstructure, liquidity dynamics, and order book behaviour to enhance execution performance.
- Develop, back-test and refine execution algorithms and intraday execution signals.
- Monitor execution quality using Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) and other quantitative performance metrics.
- Collaborate closely with Portfolio Managers, Quantitative Researchers and Technology teams to implement execution improvements.
- Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve trading efficiency through quantitative techniques.
- Stay current with developments in electronic trading, market structure and execution technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Financial Engineering or another quantitative discipline.
- Proven experience in Quantitative Execution Trading, Quantitative Research, Electronic Trading or a similar Front Office quantitative role.
- Strong understanding of market microstructure, electronic trading and order book dynamics.
- Experience with execution algorithms, liquidity modelling and Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA).
- Advanced programming skills in Python and C++.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial investment environment.
