Operations & Supply Chain Executive

Industry: Minimart & Restaurant

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement of food ingredients, beverages, groceries, and retail merchandise.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and overseas suppliers.
  • Issue purchase orders and monitor deliveries.
  • Coordinate inventory replenishment for the restaurant and minimart.
  • Monitor stock levels and conduct regular stock audits.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods from suppliers to the restaurant and minimart.
  • Coordinate logistics for imported products where applicable.
  • Maintain inventory records and prepare purchasing and stock reports.
  • Work with the kitchen and store teams to forecast inventory requirements.
  • Monitor product quality, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and inventory control procedures.
  • Develop and improve procurement and inventory SOPs.
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
  • Perform other operational duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, inventory, logistics, retail, food and beverage, or supply chain.
  • Good negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
