This role provides a unique opportunity to work directly with the Managing Partner on strategic initiatives, portfolio management, fundraising, research, and operational excellence across the firm.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, intellectually curious, and execution-oriented CEO Office Associate to join Teja Ventures.

Please note: This is not an investment analyst role and not an executive assistant role.

The CEO Office Associate acts as an extension of the Managing Partner, helping drive strategic projects, liaise with external stakeholders, organize information, improve decision-making processes, and ensure execution across multiple initiatives. You will gain exposure to venture capital, startups, fundraising, portfolio management, impact innovation, consumer and technology trends, and ecosystem building while developing skills typically associated with future Chief of Staff, COO, platform, or venture-building leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Projects

  • Support the Managing Partner on high-priority strategic initiatives.

  • Conduct research on industries, markets, emerging technologies, and investment themes.

  • Prepare briefing documents, presentations, and decision-support materials.

  • Assist in evaluating new opportunities, partnerships, and ecosystem initiatives.

CEO Office Operations & Team Liaison

  • Translate meetings into actionable next steps.

  • Track key priorities, projects, deadlines, and deliverables.

  • Follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure execution.

  • Maintain visibility across multiple ongoing initiatives.

  • Liaise closely with the internal team on administrative execution matters to ensure seamless operations.

Portfolio & Fund Intelligence

  • Support portfolio reporting and KPI tracking.

  • Assist in maintaining portfolio dashboards and valuation tracking.

  • Help gather information from portfolio companies and internal stakeholders.

  • Support quarterly reporting processes.

Fundraising & Investor Support

  • Assist with investor materials and fundraising preparation.

  • Maintain CRM and tracking systems for investor engagement.

  • Prepare briefing notes before meetings with investors, founders, corporates, and ecosystem partners.

Data & Knowledge Management

  • Build and maintain internal dashboards and trackers.

  • Organize institutional knowledge and documentation.

  • Improve processes through automation, AI tools, and workflow optimization.
