Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain production and material planning schedules in alignment with demand forecasts and available capacity.
  • Ensure availability of raw materials and finished goods to support uninterrupted production and achievement of on-time delivery performance.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to maintain optimal stock balance while minimizing excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory.
  • Identify, assess, and manage E&O risks, and drive timely mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross-functional functions to resolve supply, capacity, and scheduling constraints.
  • Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, schedule adherence, inventory accuracy, and related risk metrics.
  • Prepare and present periodic management reports, including PowerPoint presentations, for senior management review.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects to enhance planning processes and system effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate and timely planning data within ERP/MRP systems.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks, urgent requirements, and special assignments as assigned by management to ensure business continuity and operational needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in production planning, materials planning, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience in inventory control, including Excess & Obsolete (E&O) management.
  • Experience in project or process improvement initiatives within supply chain or operations.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to prepare management presentations (PPT) with strong analytical and data visualization skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
