Ace Building Services Pte Ltd is a growing M&E contractor specializing in electrical and plumbing systems for commercial, industrial and residential developments. We are looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor (Plumbing & Sanitary) to strengthen our project team and support our expanding portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender submissions for plumbing projects.
• Take off quantities from drawings and specifications.
• Source quotations and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost comparisons and procurement recommendations.
• Manage project costs, variations and final accounts.
• Evaluate subcontractor claims and prepare progress payment claims.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers and site teams to ensure timely procurement and cost efficiency.
• Maintain accurate project cost records and documentation.
• Assist in contract administration and commercial matters.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant QS experience in plumbing or M&E projects.
• Good knowledge of Singapore construction practices and contract administration.
• Able to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and quantity take-off software.
• Self-motivated, meticulous and able to work independently as well as in a team.
