Job Summary
We seek an experienced Java Solution Architect to design scalable, secure enterprise applications and lead cloud migration initiatives in the financial services domain.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end enterprise solutions using Java and Microservices architecture to meet business needs
- Define and enforce application architecture, technical standards, and best practices for scalable and secure systems
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
- Lead architecture discussions, design reviews, and governance to ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Drive application modernization and cloud migration initiatives to enhance system performance and agility
- Design scalable, resilient, and secure APIs and distributed systems to support business operations
- Mentor development teams by providing technical guidance throughout project lifecycles
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and performance optimization practices
- Partner with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and enable cloud-native deployments
- Support production issue resolution and participate in architecture governance to maintain system reliability
Required competencies and certifications
- 10–15 years of experience in Java application development
- Proficient in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and event-driven architectures
- Skilled in containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience managing relational and NoSQL databases including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
- Solid understanding of system integration patterns and enterprise architecture principles
- Proficient with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Expertise in design patterns, performance tuning, security, and scalability best practices
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services domains
- Knowledge of payment systems, digital banking, treasury, capital markets, or wealth management solutions
- Certifications in TOGAF, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or Oracle considered advantageous
- Familiarity with OpenShift and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges
- Leadership experience managing distributed development teams and multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Client-facing experience with global teams is highly preferred
