Overview

The candidate shall be responsible for overseeing all aspects, EHS programs customized for data centre construction and operations, ensuring safe and sustainable work environments. He/she need to conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety, health, and environmental risks, and establish mitigation strategies to prevent incidents. He/she will ensure compliance with EHS regulations, standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001), and local laws across multiple regions, maintaining required permits and documentation.

Make an Impact by

Lead incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions in line with regulatory reporting requirements.

Design and deliver EHS training for employees and contractors on safety procedures, emergency response, and hazard management.

Maintain and test emergency response plans, including drills for fire, chemical, and natural disaster scenarios.

Oversee environmental management, covering waste disposal, pollution prevention, and energy conservation to promote sustainability.

Implement contractor safety programs through audits, pre-qualification assessments, and compliance monitoring.

Lead EHS audits and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with corporate goals and local regulatory standards.

Provide regional EHS support to ensure consistent implementation and performance across data centre sites.

Skills for Success

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or related discipline.

Professional EHS certification (e.g., ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, NEBOSH, or equivalent).

Minimum 10 years of EHS management experience, preferably in industrial or data centre environments.

Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and APAC-specific EHS regulations.

Proven ability to manage audits, assess risks, and drive compliance across multi-site operations.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Skilled in analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem resolution.

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, complex environments.

Commitment to continuous improvement and sustainable operational practices.

Fluency in English; proficiency in other APAC languages is an advantage.
