Youth Worker (Secondary School / East )

Up to $35/hour | Approx. 30 hours/week | 3-Month Contract (Subject to Extension)

My client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Youth Worker to support secondary school students with additional needs through mentoring, casework, and student engagement programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide holistic support and mentoring to identified students.
• Conduct after-school academic support and engagement programmes.
• Build students' resilience, social-emotional competencies, and life skills.
• Foster a safe and positive learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers and the school's Case Management Team to support student development.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, Social Sciences, Youth Work, or related discipline.
• Preferably 3 years of relevant youth work, social work, counselling, or student support experience.
• Passionate about working with youths and supporting students with diverse needs.

Working Hours

• Mon: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Tue: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Wed: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Thu: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Fri: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
