Job Summary
As a Digital Marketing Executive at Media Unboxx, you will support marketing campaign execution, client servicing, and content creation to build impactful brands across social and digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across social media, Digital PR, KOL marketing, events, and content production to drive client visibility and engagement
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend monitoring to identify growth opportunities for clients
- Collaborate with content producers, designers, and strategists to develop engaging content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Xiao Hong Shu (XHS)
- Coordinate influencer and KOL campaigns by managing outreach, content approvals, and campaign reporting to optimise performance
- Build and maintain professional relationships with media, creators, partners, and clients to support campaign success
- Assist with campaign reporting, analyse performance data, and recommend optimisations for continuous improvement
- Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions to enhance campaign activations and client projects
- Support client servicing and project management to ensure timely and smooth delivery of campaigns
- Participate confidently in content creation including appearing in interviews, vox pops, social videos, or campaign shoots as needed
- Experience in planning, executing, and optimising Meta, Google and TikTok Ads. Additional knowledge of LinkedIn ads will be advantageous.
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with clients and partners
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce clear marketing materials and client correspondence
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Curiosity, proactivity, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced marketing environment
- Confidence and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, partners, and team members
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Familiarity with Chinese social platforms, especially Xiao Hong Shu (小红书)
- Experience managing social media accounts and executing campaigns on Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, or Google Ads
- Existing relationships with influencers, KOLs, media contacts, or content creators
- Experience working in an agency, startup, media company, or content creator environment
- Knowledge of Malaysia or Thailand markets and ability to converse in Thai
- Comfortable participating in content creation such as skits, interviews, or social media videos
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields
