Regional Audit Manager (Korean Speaking)

Position Summary

As a Regional Audit Manager for Southeast Asia & Oceania region, you will manage and undertake fraud audit assignments effectively to identify key risks to corporate objectives across Samsung Electronics' SEAO region.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Conduct extensive and confidential investigations of suspected fraud allegations
  • Prepare and coordinate field assignments to obtain relevant evidence and information
  • Conduct interviews with personnel to uncover and gather evidence
  • Advanced utilization of data analytics tools and advanced Excel to examine, compare, and extract actionable insight from large datasets
  • Identify, and clearly define, forensic issues and root causes, recommend improved internal controls and business processes, and ensure that corrective action plans are developed
  • Task-coordination between Korean HQ/ expatriate and local staff
  • Successfully manage and complete projects within given timelines (eg. audit projects for 6-8 weeks)

Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years of relevant experience conducting financial/fraud audits as an expert in field of digital forensic

  • Strong understanding of cross-functional financial operations, including Procurement, Sales, Marketing, and Accounting, preferably within the consumer/industry electronics sector

  • Fluency in both English & Korean language (both written and verbal) for professional business communication and to support specific regional operations, task coordination and reporting

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong relationship building and negotiation skills with stakeholders of all levels

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills including PowerPoint (to build and drive presentations) and Excel to interpret, visualize and present data

  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data visualization) and PowerPoint (to build and drive executive presentations)

  • Strong ability to operate independently while building effective partnerships across regional stakeholders and diverse cultures.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple priorities.

  • Legally eligible and willing to travel extensively across the SEAO region (approximately 5 months annually).
