IT Account Manager

We are seeking an IT Account Manager to effectively oversee third-party IT vendors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical services. This role is vital in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee third-party IT vendors, ensuring compliance with security and quality standards.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors as the primary point of contact.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.

• Ensure all technical changes meet established security, data quality, and performance standards.

• Provide oversight to ensure vendors meet contractual obligations and service level agreements.

• Act as a key escalation point for resolving technical or contractual issues with vendors.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align vendor deliverables with evolving business needs.

• Conduct performance reviews and audits of vendor activities, driving continuous improvement.

• Support the validation and testing of vendor solutions prior to implementation.

• Maintain thorough documentation of vendor arrangements and governance activities.

• Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks.

Requirements

• Formal education in IT or related fields is preferred.

• Strong technical background in IT service management or vendor management.

• Proven experience in analyzing complex business requirements and delivering technical solutions.

• Experience with third-party vendors in regulated environments, ideally within healthcare or insurance.

• Knowledge of security standards, data quality principles, and performance management.

• Excellent stakeholder management abilities, capable of influencing diverse teams.
