Job Summary
Support daily warehouse operations by managing inventory accuracy, supervising staff, coordinating with teams, and driving process improvements to maintain an efficient and well-organised warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in planning and overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth workflow
- Supervise receiving, stock-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities to maintain operational accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory to ensure data accuracy and prevent discrepancies
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Retail, and E-commerce teams to facilitate timely and accurate order fulfilment
- Monitor stock movements and maintain detailed, up-to-date inventory records for effective stock control
- Ensure all goods are correctly received, labelled, and stored according to warehouse standards
- Lead and train warehouse staff to enhance productivity, performance, and adherence to procedures
- Enforce workplace safety, housekeeping, and warehouse SOPs to maintain a safe and compliant environment
- Identify and support warehouse process improvements to increase operational efficiency
- Prepare detailed warehouse reports and assist with stock take exercises to support inventory management
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse or inventory management experience, including supervisory responsibilities
- Proficient knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations
- Experience using warehouse management systems or ERP software
